About the Opportunity
Public Trustee is seeking an experienced Senior Taxation Specialist to play a key leadership role within a well-established taxation team to deliver taxation services.
You will be responsible for playing a senior role in providing consultancy and expert advice to the broader Public Trustee organisation on Tax and Superannuation matters for our customers. You act as a mentor to a team of highly skilled individuals, supporting their development, and playing a key role in driving the positive culture of the branch.
You will also be responsible for managing a caseload of more complex tax returns and the majority of the quality assurance activities and control self assessments.

About You
You are an experienced and registered Tax Agent with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You have the ability to build effective relationships with your team members ensuring you drive a positive culture within the branch. You ensure a high attention to detail at all times and are able to priorities and manage your time effectively to meet deadlines. You work collaboratively with your team and the broader Public Trustee to ensure you deliver high quality tax services. You are keen to share knowledge and experience in the mentoring and development of your team members.

About the Public Trustee
The Office of the Public Trustee (Public Trustee) is a business unit of the Attorney-General’s Department. The Public Trustee was established in 1881 and is constituted under the provisions of the Public Trustee Act 1995.
The Public Trustee plays an important role in managing the personal, legal and financial affairs of those people in the community who lack the capacity to manage their own affairs. The Public Trustee also provides eligible South Australians with access to Will making services, powers of attorney preparation and deceased estate and trust administration.
The Public Trustee is located in a prime CBD location, with offices looking out over Victoria Square.
