About the Opportunity
Public Trustee is looking for an experienced and highly organised Accounts Payable Officer to join our Client Accounting team. The Accounts Payable Officer is responsible for the timely and accurate data entry from payment vouchers and journals which contributes to the efficient operation of the accounts payable function. The Accounts Payable Officer will be required to perform a quality assurance function on data entry by other officers. The successful applicant will be rostered on a needs basis and will work irregular hours.
The Client Accounting team, within the Attorney-General’s Department’s Public Trustee (PT) wants to hear from you if you have:
- A passion to deliver outstanding customer service
- Excellent communication skills
- An understanding of accounts payable procedures
- Demonstrated experience in data processing functions
- The ability to use a windows based operating system for payment of accounts
- Exceptional time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
