About the Opportunity
We are looking for a motivated, positive and personable Client Services Officer to join our driven customer facing team within Consumer and Business Services.
There are multiple positions available within Consumer and Business Services for the role of Client Services Officer. The Births, Deaths and Marriages branch and Licensing branch within the Attorney-General’s Department’s Consumer and Business Services (CBS) wants to hear from you if you are:
- Effective in providing high quality customer support in a considerate and timely manner via telephone, face to face, emails and other forms of communication;
- Competent in handling complaints in a considerate manner;
- Able to efficiently handle large workloads with competing demands and priorities, and are;
- Personable and able to work successfully in a team of competent Client Services Officers.

About Consumer and Business Services
Consumer and Business Services (CBS) employs around 200 staff and our primary purpose is to facilitate business, protect consumers and record life events. CBS currently comprises eight branches, with two points of executive oversight.

Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be will provided further information if an interview is requested. Consumer and Business Services are looking for multiple Client Services Officer’s to join our energetic and faced paced customer facing teams.
Some applicants will be employed directly into vacant roles, whilst other preferred applicants will be notified and placed in a pool and contacted, if and when, suitable vacancies arise.
The preferred applicants successful to the pool may be contacted for a period of twelve months after the selection process is finalised to temporary positions ranging in length. These roles may lead to longer term appointments as vacancies arise.
