About the Opportunity
The Client Services Officer is responsible for providing prompt frontline services and accurate information to Consumer and Business Services customers, with this role focusing on applications processing (correspondence and counter), telephone enquiries and enquiries via electronic channels therefore we are seeking someone with experience and interest in direct customer service.
The Client Services Officer vacancies are in the Registration Branch, Births, Deaths and Marriages within Consumer and Business Services. Successful applicants will be placed in the applications team within the Registration Branch.
As a successful candidate you will be responsible for a broad range of services relating to the functions of the Registration Branch. Responsibilities will focus on the direct customer service in the Customer Service Centre and back of office processing of applications, enquiries via phone and electronic channels however may also include all other service components of the applications team client service officer role.
Applicants may be considered for additional short term vacancies as they arise across all areas of Consumer and Business Services.

Special Conditions for Employment
Employment is dependent upon a National Police Certificate clearance that the AGD finds satisfactory. Successful applicants will be advised to submit their National Police Check Application form, including certified identification documents, to the AGD if an interview is requested. The form is not to be lodged directly with SA Police (SAPOL) under any circumstances and any fees incurred by applicants in doing so will not be recoverable from the AGD. If you are invited for an interview you will be required to bring a completed Job Application Pack and National Police Clearance form and ID.
